Villa Mila

The Villa is in an area called Linda Vista, which is the beachside of San Pedro de Alcantara. The town of San Pedro is just five minutes by car, but there is a supermarket round the corner from the Villa. Puerto Banus is seven minutes drive away, but San Pedro is perfect for shopping, banking and has an excellent selection of all nationality restaurants, a large majority offering excellent fresh Spanish fish and seafood.

The owners of this Villa have been clever in reforming an old style Spanish property and have very successfully converted it into a modern Villa whilst maintaining the rusticity of the original house. They have travelled extensively, and the Villa is filled with many very interesting pieces of furniture and paintings. The imagination alone that has gone into the design of the swimming pool with a moat, is just one of the interesting features. Through the garden gate is a private walkway to the beach and the local beachside fish restaurant.

The Villa has three floors. The top floor is a roof terrace, which offers views to the sea and to the mountains. The first floor has the Master Suite and sitting room, with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. This has French windows leading onto a very private terrace with views of the garden, pool and to the sea. Sharing this floor is another bedroom, which can either be a single or twin room, again with an en-suite bathroom with shower. Additionally, there is another terrace on this level, with views to the mountains.

The ground floor has another two twin-bedded rooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, one with bath, and one with shower. One of these bedrooms has views of the swimming pool and garden.

The open-plan salon has been designed purely as a relaxing area, as there is a T.V. and lounging area off the main salon. The French windows in the salon lead to a delightful covered terrace area, with outdoor dining and a

ceiling fan, perfect for Spanish summer evenings. One can sit in peace and tranquility looking over the garden and swimming pool. The dining area is also off the main salon, and an alternative to eating outdoors.

There are many windows in the house, so making it very light and airy. There is another shower room bathroom at the back of the house, which has a chair that converts into a single bed, which could be used for a nanny, or young teenager, who wants to be a little independent.

The kitchen is fully equipped with big windows, again offering lots of light. There is air-conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms, and the Villa is very secure. Additional features are Satellite T.V. and Video, and private parking.
